Isabel Winkels. Graduate in Law from the Complutense University of Madrid and member of the Madrid Bar Association since 1987. Partner-director of Winkels Abogados, a law firm specialising in family law, and passionate about training, she teaches family law courses at the Madrid Bar Association, at legal publishers such as Wolters Kluwer, and is a lecturer in family law on the Master’s Degree for Access to the Legal Profession at the Instituto de Estudios Bursátiles (IEB), and a member of the Academic Council of the Escuela de Técnica Jurídica (ETJ), where she also organises and directs family law courses.

She is a founder and former president of the Family Section of the Madrid Bar Association, and is a member of various national and international legal associations and forums: she is a founding member and Secretary of the Family and Law Platform, a member of AEAFA, AIJUDEFA, and is also a member of the board of directors of the Confederation for the Best Interest of the Child (CEMIN).

She is a regular contributor to various written and audiovisual media, advising and informing on legal issues.
