Gema Cornejo has a degree in Law from the Complutense University of Madrid and a Master’s Degree in Legal Practice and in the General Practice of Law from the Liceo Jurídico y Empresarial de Madrid.

She is a member of the law firm Winkels Abogados, and has been a practising lawyer since 1997, with extensive experience in the courts.

Cornejo has completed numerous courses related to the practice of law, and is specialised and permanently up to date with the latest doctrinal and jurisprudential developments in family law.

In addition, she teaches in different institutions on the subject of violence against women, as she is also a lawyer in this speciality with a long experience behind her.

She is a member of the Family and Law Platform and of the Spanish Association of Family Lawyers (AEAFA).

She is a regular contributor to various media and has extensive experience as a contributor to the legal magazine Confilegal.
